O Divine Source of Life and Light,
In this sacred season of Easter—
When the darkness is rolled away,
And hope rises with the dawn—
We remember Pope Francis,
A humble servant, a steady voice, a bridge between worlds.

Like St. Francis of Assisi, whom he followed in name and spirit,
He walked with the lowly,
Spoke for the forgotten,
Embraced simplicity,
And called us to care—for one another, for the Earth, for the soul of humanity.

As the stone of sorrow is rolled from the tomb of grief,
May we see beyond loss to the light of legacy.
May the seeds he planted in justice, peace, and mercy
Take root in all our hearts this Easter and always.

Let his memory stir us to compassion.
Let his vision guide us to unity.
Let his faith remind us that even in suffering,
There is renewal,
There is purpose,
There is resurrection.

O Gentle Spirit,
Receive him now in radiant peace.
May he rest in the eternal springtime of love.
And may we, too, rise each day—
To live with grace,
To serve with courage,
To love without measure.

Amen.
