Editor’s Note: The 1st of September is the start of the “BER” months. In the Philippines and Filipinos across the globe, Christmas begins early on this day too. Let’s herald the month and the season with this guest post from Rinku Senior as he conveys a message meant to give us hope.

We are at a new time and you know what I mean, the days are full of conflicts and darkness. From the beginning of humanity, the generation is being cursed and our land is no more blessed. Here mankind is suffering every second. His hope seems to be already in vain.

But can we expect good this time?

Yes, we can think from a very different perspective if we are on the positive side. There is someone who is watching over us.

Now you may ask me are you talking about my family? 

“I am so tired of them. They don’t like me. They don’t listen to me. They ignore me whenever I try to talk to them. They say I am giving a lecture!”

No, I am not talking about any person but you can give a chance to God. He holds everything and he too created the world for you.

Mankind is selfish. He has the wrong intention behind everything and he doesn’t wish to live in this world any longer. He thinks the planet will be destroyed very soon, without knowing who is causing the wrongdoings.

It is a very shocking thing but this is the fact!

We have already crossed half of the year and we are close to a new zone. Man needs everything at a time, he needs to be sad and happy. For those things, he does try to cheer up himself and others.

We have different cultures, traditions, and languages because we are humans and we are wise.

We have the option to choose things by our mentality. We think we are free in this entire universe but truth is that we are fighting against each other, are we not?

Our mind is corrupt now, not ready to accept any fact behind the creation!

Man is choosing struggle but he doesn’t know how long it will take him to reach victory. He doesn’t know if he is doing good or right. In his eyes, he thinks it is his work and has authority over others, but those next to him think it is not a good idea. The work he is involved in will be a mess and destruction someday, people say.

Then, what is the conclusion?

Where can we find a clear answer to every question? What will happen next year as we celebrate this Christmas?

As Jesus resurrected from death just after 3 days, I believe we too can have a new life after this year and we should start the process from now!

During Christmas, we will meet different people. We will be busy in celebration but have you ever tried to know how long the joy will stay with us?

Can we keep it forever even in times of trouble? How can we mentally prepare ourselves for the battle that is already going on?

So many questions are coming out now, I understand why this is happening to us. We are normal. We always stay waiting that our situation will be changed and we will see a quiet new life, in a new way.

We can see this Christmas as an opportunity for us, a way to have a new world where we will live peacefully and freely. There is only one solution to having this kind of life and this is, that we should receive Christ as our savior and Lord.

I know you have gone through difficulties. You have done wrong things that you think no one can forgive. But now you need to have a different perspective, you need to change your old mentality and you need to grab this new thinking.

Don’t look here and there, it will continue until the end of this world.

If you want to have the gifts of heaven that God has for you, then you must come to him. Only he can forgive you. He can wash you to clean with his precious blood. He can transform you into a new person.

God wants to use you to be a living testimony to others. He has a calling for your life. If you pray to him with your whole heart, he will reveal it to you. In him, you will have eternal life. He will give heavenly peace that can’t be explained so easily.

Do you know our God is the God of the impossible? Is anything too hard with him?

No, for you he can divide the Red Sea. He will do anything for you to save you from the lost world. Only you need to do one thing and that is to forgive yourself and come to the Lord, kneel and bow down. Close your eyes, and pray to him for forgiveness first. Repent your sins. Ask him to stay in your heart and transform you completely like Christ Jesus.

God’s burden is lite. Nothing is late yet. He holds the time. He wants to give you a chance to live again, to be born again.

Let the Christmas resurrect for you and you become a child of God to eternity.

As you surrender yourself to God in his hands, he will fill you with his love. He will give you a new heart to love and forgive everyone. You will have the spirit of God which belongs to heaven.

Have faith, God will never leave or forsake you. He will be on the journey and will walk along with you.

You will no longer be alone, even the world leave you as you accept Christ as your Lord and savior!

The Bible tells us to seek first the kingdom of God and everything will be added to our life. You are his child now. You were lost, now you are found by him. Maybe you don’t know but there is a celebration going on now for you in heaven. Angels are cheering up for you because you have left the evil and his dark world.

Whatever you have lost in past God will restore to you to double, he has promised it and he will keep his promise.

God is the light in the darkness. When you see there is no way, God will be your way. He will do the impossible for you.

Hence you need to promise yourself that from this Christmas, I will have a completely new life in Christ Jesus.

He will deliver you out of the darkness. He will transform you like Christ Jesus. In this world, you will face difficulties. You will have to go through the fire. But just don’t go through it, grow through it.

NEVER COMPLAIN

As you are in Christ you are no longer old. From now onwards you have to control your mouth and words. You have to stop complaining to God.

Bible says when you come to the Lord, come with praise & thanksgiving. Don’t be like non-believers. He also wants you to grow spiritually for your eternal life. Hence sanctification is very essential and only it can be possible when you will leave your comfort zone.

God has already blessed your life millions of times that you can’t count at once.

For this, don’t you need to be grateful to God? Don’t you need to thank God that he has given you life?

When you wake up every morning give thanks to God for the blessings you have already. Don’t be smart, don’t think that you got everything by your strength. You are nothing without God’s power in this world. You don’t know your future but God knows it.

If you complain to God by keeping your eyes on what you don’t have yet, you will lose God’s plans in your life. He will start the process of sanctification for you once again and his blessings in your life will be a delay.

Praise him because he deserves it. Be thankful to God. So that blessings in your life will be added more & more every day. In him you will find peace, it doesn’t matter what is happening around you.

DAILY PRAYER IN SECRET

Bible tells us to pray in secret. So that Lord, your father in heaven who sees you, will bless in public. He will prepare a table for your and enemies will see it.

What a wonderful promise that God has for his children!

Another verse also says your eyes haven’t seen, nor the ears have heard and you didn’t even dream & imagine the things God has for you if you love him. Prayer is the key to unlocking the doors of heaven. When you pray angels to go to work. God goes to fight for you against dark forces & evil. Prayer changes things & brings victory.

To have God’s blessings in your life you have to keep praying every day, secretly.

Also, pray according to God’s will. So that he will answer to you just at his right & perfect timing. Bible says you asked but you didn’t receive because you asked God with the wrong intention only for your enjoyment.

Pray for something which will bring glory to God & blessings to others including yourself. Never give up on your prayer life. It is the only way to connect with God.

If you don’t pray you can’t have God’s blessings!

REPENT

Sometimes your prayers don’t get an answer, the reason is that if you are still involved in sin & can’t forgive others that time God wants you to repent and never repeat it. So when you pray ask God for forgiveness.

As you do this he will wash you to clean with his precious blood. He will sanctify you and make you perfect in holiness.

Then he will teach you the way of living Christianity in this world, in his kingdom.

This is how you can resurrect your life, with the power of God’s love for mankind. May this Christmas bring blessings into your life & you be also a part of God’s mission.
