Yes, I am a Potter fan. However, it is disappointing that Rowling has elected to alienate her friends with anti-trans propaganda. I’m not sure what to make out of it. I hope to never offend with my writing.

She has her point and so do you. I am all for not leaving out anyone in the conversation. We are all entitled to our own opinions, unless we harm another in the process.
It’s understandable to feel conflicted when someone whose work you admire expresses views that are disappointing or hurtful. It’s important to recognize that while we may appreciate an artist’s work, it’s not too uncommon to disagree with their personal beliefs or actions.
